March first(s) 1st first

Saturday was an absolutely beautiful Colorado day!! 70 degree's, sunny, perfect blue sky, etc. You can see for yourself below. These are the amazing days we always have in March that start spring fever.
Zack and I meet up with our neighbors, Linda and Nixie and headed down to the little park by our house, while the dad's went for long bike ride. Zack tried out the a big boy swing for the first time and seemed to like it although I have no proof. I tried desperately to get a picture of him smiling, but he was to busy watching the girl next to him.

Soon after he decided he had about enough swing and wanted to join the other kids on the slide.

This is Nixie, one of Z's "older women" trying out the big slide...She is super adventurous, which of course is making her mom crazy.

After little bit of swinging and sliding, we headed over to one of our fav burger places, Bull and Bush, to meet up with the dad's. Brett, Linda's hubby, and Albert had just completed a 40 mile ride and really "need" a beer. Zack couldn't decide if he wanted water or dad's beer...

While Nixie worked on eating all of her mom's bar-b-que sauce...Not the fries, just the sauce.

Brett says, "The fries are just a vehicle for the condiments."

After lunch we were suppose to go to our first ever rugby match at our stadium they built around the corner from the house! But unfortunately, Zack was exhausted from his day in the sunshine. It did give dad a good excuse to head home and take a nap.
All and all, pretty good day of firsts!

And, of course in typical Colorado fashion, Mr. Winter just couldn't let us enjoy for too long. Sunday we woke up to a few inches on the ground, snow blowing everywhere and temperatures in the 20's....Oh well, this is why we love Colorado, no two days are ever the same.

Zack was really confused...He went to bed after fun day of sunshine and sunscreen, and now he has to wear a jacket and hat!?!? What is up with that!?
Stormy and Shadow weren't bummed at all, they love the snow!
